Matching a Cartridge to Your Printer Model
The most common return is a cartridge that does not fit. Model numbers are close together and easy to misread.
Get the number from the printer
Take the model from the label on the machine itself or from its menu, not from memory or from a similar-looking device.
Suffixes matter
A single letter at the end of a cartridge code often distinguishes standard from high yield, or one regional variant from another. They are not interchangeable.
Check the old cartridge
The code is printed on the cartridge you are replacing. That is the most reliable source there is.
Regional variants
Cartridges sold for different regions can carry different codes for what looks like the same product. Buy against your printer’s documentation rather than a photograph.
